Biography
As a lifelong resident of Maine, I grew up playing in the woods, building forts, exploring ponds, and picking wildflowers. When I wasn’t outside, I was drawing, reading, listening to music, and writing…not much has changed to this day. I pursued art at the University of Maine at Augusta and earned my BA in Studio Art in 2007. Upon graduating, I sold two paintings from my senior show to the university.
I had the wonderful opportunity to illustrate two children’s books, The Kennebec is Rising and Just a Little Fog, and a cover for Kittery Ghost, written by local author Barbara Winslow. I have several pieces in a lovely Skowhegan artisan shop, InspirArt North.
I live in Skowhegan, Maine with my husband Kevin and son Samuel. We are fortunate to live on a large piece of land that I never tire of exploring.
